     The inspirations for Barry’s songs come from his experience growing up in the heart of rural America. His singing and songwriting are a tribute to Western traditions and lifestyles that he shares from his heart. He has accomplished many acknowledgments that few artists have had the honor of achieving: Performing at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City; Male Vocalist of the Year (Western Division CGMA); finalist Song of the Year (AWA); twice a finalist for Outstanding Male Vocalist (WMA); finalist Best Traditional Western Album by an Individual; Best Original Song; and Outstanding Song Writer (WMA).
